Jane Williamson, Jeanie, as she was known, was my great grandmother. She grew up in 14 Upper Mount St. Her father, Charles, was a solicitor. I’m not sure where she met Amyrald Purefoy but I suspect she met him at one of Dr Richard Dancer Purefoy’s musical evenings in his house in Merrion Square. St Stephen’s Church, Upper Mount Street, was her parish church and it contains a window commemorating her parents, Charles and Rebecca Williamson
