May Purefoy was my great aunt. I knew her briefly as an elderly lady living with her sister, Isabel, in a flat in Monkstown. May was one of the first girls to graduate from Trinity College, Dublin in 1916. She married a clergyman, John Goodacre, from Stoke on Trent. See ‘People Like Us’ for more about Auntie May
