George Richard McClenaghan

George Richard McClenaghan was my great uncle. He was ordained as a clergyman and went to England where he was the rector of a church in Yeovil in Somerset He married Amy Margaret Mayo and they had six children. Two of their sons, Mayo and Bryant died in the 1st World War. Their daughter, Barbara, is the mother of Mayo Marriott who found me through the article I wrote for the Derby Telegraph – see ‘People Like Us’.
